Learn MoreMason loves competing and challenging himself. He loves the feeling of seeing his hard work pay off - getting faster, stronger, and more confident every day. Sports have given him an outlet, a sense of belonging, and something positive to work toward.
Mason is inspired by athletes who had to work for everything they achieved. He admires players who weren’t always the biggest, strongest, or most recognized, but became great through discipline and consistency. Off the field, his family motivates him. He knows we’ve been through major changes, and instead of allowing those changes to define him, he’s learning to use them as motivation to become a stronger young man. Justin Jefferson is his favorite player! And 3Brand is his favorite apparel!
My proudest moment was watching Mason earn Camp MVP in his very first year. It wasn’t just the award that made me proud—it was everything behind it. After our family went through a difficult divorce, I watched him turn adversity into discipline. He started working out every day, taking his training seriously, and believing in himself. Seeing that work recognized showed me that he was becoming more than an athlete—he was becoming resilient. He even got a couple of Interceptions in the season!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
