Mason never plays for the glory. He’ll pass up his own shot for a teammate, play through pain, and give everything he has for his team.

Join the CompetitionMason loves everything about soccer—the competition, being part of a team, and the challenge of getting better. He loves making the right play, whether that means scoring, defending, or setting up a teammate. For him, it’s never about being the star. He genuinely loves the game and wants his whole team to succeed and most importantly having a lot of fun!
Mason looks up to his 17 year old Triston, who has always been someone he admires and wants to make proud. On the field, he’s inspired by Lionel Messi, who overcame a childhood growth hormone deficiency and financial obstacles to become one of the greatest players in the world. He also admires Lamine Yamal for reaching the highest level of soccer at such a young age. They remind Mason that where you start—or how young you are—doesn’t determine how far you can go.
One of my proudest moments was when Mason reluctantly attended a soccer camp because he worried the other players would be better than him. On the final day, they held a “World Cup” game. Mason scored five goals, and his entire team was cheering him on. Watching him go from doubting whether he belonged there to seeing what everyone else could already see in him was unforgettable. He’s always been his own toughest critic, and that day he finally got a glimpse of just how capable he really is.
