He loves being part of a team. He practices with his teammates for hours AFTER his practice
Roman Josi is his favorite pro player. His Mom and Dad are his biggest supporters. His coaches push him to always be his best, but his biggest inspiration is his grandfather, who has end stage renal disease. His Poppop makes every game he can, even out of town, and Mason has always taken a picture with him. Every game. He knows his Pop is his biggest fan. He tells him" never say can't".
Mason is my grandson. Mason plays roller hockey for Team Tennessee 2014 for State Wars, a national tournament which includes teams from the US, Canada, and other countries across the World and this year out of 16 teams they took the gold and were undefeated through the entire tournament. But I really think my proudest moments are the end of the games. Win or lose, he never forgets to shake hands with his coaches, the refs and thanks everyone who comes for being there. That makes me proud!
