More than winning, he enjoys learning from every game, pushing himself to improve, and seeing his hard work pay off.
Mateo is inspired by his family, coaches, and teammates. His family motivates him to work hard, stay humble, and never give up when things get difficult. His coaches inspire him to keep learning and improving, while his teammates remind him that baseball is about mare than individual success it is about supporting each other and working together toward a common goal.
The moments that make me proudest are not only when Mateo succeeds, but when he faces challenges and chooses to keep going. Watching him continue to work, learn from mistakes, support his teammates, and step back onto the field whit confidence has shown me how much he has grown not only as an athlete, but also as a young men.
