What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreI like track because it was a new challenge and helps keep me fit in the off season. Weight lifting is mentally and physically challenging because you see your growth in real time and it motivates to always try and beat you last PR. Football is a mental and physical game always challenging to grow and be faster and stronger. I love being part of a team, a family trying to reach the same goal. I hope to continue playing on a collegiate level.
All my teammates inspire me on and off the field. We are friends off the field as well as on and always have each other’s backs.
I would say my proudest moment was coming back after breaking my ankle in the beginning of my sophomore year. I was just pulled up to, varsity that summer before and 2 games in I broke my ankle, had surgery and was back out on the sideline support. I’ve had a lot of times where I was proud of beating my last squat or power clean goal, but the determination I had to mentally and physically to get back on the field that following spring, was my most proud.
