He has always felt that the football field was home. That on the field, he’s complete, he feels closest to his true self and to God. It’s not just a sport, it is his life, and he tends to live it to the fullest, and football will be only his first step.
MJ has stated that the person who inspires him to be better everyday is his father. In his eyes his father is what a man should be. “My dad has gone through many hardships, and through it all he came out a better man than most” is what Mj has said about his father, who is a man of God and amazing person.
Last year, Mj was on Fox 5 news after scoring 3 touchdowns against Prince Avenue. He about over 150 yards rushing that game. And what made this moment so amazing is that the year before that, in his freshmen year, he played the same team, and fumbled twice. And that was his stats for the game, two carries for two fumbles. So coming out next year and showing out against a team that hit him hard both physically, but mostly mentally, really made me proud of him.
