He’s inspired by his parents. He works his hardest every day because his parents work their hardest to give him the best life possible. His why is his mom and dad because they mean the world to him. Everyday he wakes up he works his hardest for them because they give him their best every day so he’s obligated to give 100% everyday for them. Everything he does is for them and they are the reason why he is the way he is today. So his inspiration are his parents.
Earlier this year, Matthew tore a ligament in his foot while attending a recruiting camp. He had surgery & the physical & mental recovery process was definitely challenging. Matthew’s resilience & perseverance never faltered. He pushed himself in PT, slowly started going to the gym. He never counted himself out for D1. He reached out/sent his film to prep schools to allow him to reclass so he can commit to getting stronger & have another opportunity to show D1 schools he’s still in the game!
