My mom inspires me because she is a leader and she pushes through things to see herself and my family get to the other side. For the last ten years she has been my example. Keeping my head up and thinking positive through adverse situations is something she has done and I am learning from her every single day.
At 10 years old, I decided to try out for one of the best club teams in my state and I not only made it but I was placed on the 12u team and played with kids 2 years older than me. I started out the year at the bottom of the line-up and ended the year in some of the most important spots on the team.
