I do believe other D1 athletes that are also Libero/DS. Seeing how they are on and off the court. Her pop who recently passed away in March, all he loved to do is see her play on the court, and just become a different athlete whenever she plays. She puts her a whole heart every day at practice and strives to get stronger and better every day for her team and for herself. Two years ago, that is when she started playing volleyball surprisingly. She went to tryout for the sixth grade team and she didn’t make the second cut. From that evening and on, night and day, she was practicing her techniques, strength training, practicing her serves, to make the team the following year. Because of her grit and determination she became defensive player of the year and also became MVP of the year.
