Whether she’s playing football, running track, or wrestling, she loves the excitement of challenging herself and giving her best effort. Winning is fun, but what she enjoys most is working hard, celebrating with her teammates, and seeing herself get 1% better every day.
Mazaria is inspired by her dad because he teaches her that success comes from discipline, hard work, and believing in yourself. She also looks up to her coaches and older athletes who lead by example. They remind her that being a great athlete isn’t just about talent, it’s about having a great attitude, helping others, and never giving up.
One of the proudest moments was watching Mazaria encourage and celebrate her teammates just as much as her own success. Whether she was scoring touchdowns, winning races, or earning medals, she always stayed humble and cheered others on. Seeing her become a leader with a kind heart has meant even more than any trophy she’s won.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
