Texas Tech inspire McKenzie because it represents everything she is working toward. competing at a high level, receiving an excellent education, and preparing for a career in sports medicine. Seeing talented female athletes succeed there helps keep her motivated to keep working hard, growing as a teammate, and chasing her dream of becoming a college softball player and sports medicine physician.
What makes me most proud is watching McKenzie step onto the field and completely own her place out there. Her confidence shows in every play, and you can see how much work, heart, and determination she puts into the game. Watching her believe in herself, compete fearlessly, and shine while doing what she loves is one of my greatest joys as her mom.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
