My dad because he helps me get better as an individual. I ask to go practice & he makes it work. We watch sports & I’ll ask questions & he breaks down the plays & game for me to understand more.
One moment that really stood out was during baseball playoffs against a team we had struggled with all season. He took a ball to the calf and, instead of letting the emotions take over like he had in the past, he pushed through and finished pitching. Watching his mental and emotional growth this season has made me incredibly proud. It’s not just the athlete he’s becoming, but the person.
