What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Mia loves that dance lets her express who she is without saying a word. She loves learning new skills, challenging herself, performing on stage, and seeing her hard work pay off. Most of all, she loves the friendships, memories, and confidence dance has given her. Dance is where she feels happiest, most herself, and free to shine.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Mia is inspired most by her dance teachers, they believe in her, push her to be better, and teach her to never give up. She is also inspired by the dancers she looks up to because they show her what is possible when you work hard and stay dedicated. Most of all, Mia wants to inspire others the way her teachers and role models inspire her—to dream big, work hard, and always dance with her heart.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me the proudest is when Mia was named a National Prodigy. Watching her hard work, dedication, and countless hours of training lead to such an incredible achievement was unforgettable. She pushed through challenges, stayed committed, and never stopped believing in herself. Seeing her hard work pay off on that stage made me incredibly proud—not just because she won, but because of everything she put into earning it.
