Micah thrives during challenges under pressure against the best, and pushing himself to improve every day. He focuses on results of scoring goals, creating opportunities for teammates, and learning from experienced coaches. Soccer has given him lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and the opportunity to represent his community and Canada while constantly striving to become the best version of himself. Micah is currently in Spain for two weeks for elite level training with CD Leganés.
Micah is inspired by Adama Traoré’s speed and power, Kylian Mbappé’s creativity, and Zlatan Ibrahimović’s confidence, and skills. He is grateful to Kelowna United FC, Coaches Christopher Morgan, Andy Peters, Dawson Weir, Rob Giezen, Garry Graham, Director of Football Lee Tregonning, and Dylan Hughes of MatchTour11, whose invitation to train with CD Leganés in Spain gave him a once in a lifetime opportunity. He is honored to learn from such incredible mentors.
As Micah’s father, my proudest moment has been watching him earn the opportunity to train with CD Leganés in Spain. It represents years of discipline, resilience, determination, and a relentless work ethic. More than the athlete he is becoming, I’m proud of the young man he has become, mature, driven, and committed to excellence. His entire family, from coast to coast and across the world, is incredibly proud of him and everything he continues to achieve. For Micah, this is only the beginning.
