His his big brother is his biggest inspiration. His brother played football as well, and as a single mother in today's society things can get very tough. He looks at his big brother and sees success is possible.
During summer break Michael had an injury that cause him to have surgery on his hand. Walking into his 8th grade year, ragrdless of the physical therapy, pain and struggles he did not give up. With only a few weeks until his season began he went to practice in a half cast with pins in his thumb. He attended practice the day after the removal of his pins and pushed his limits to be prepared for the start of his season regardless of the discouragement towards football the Dr.s were displaying.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
