He would say that person would be me but I would say I’m just being what he needs. He used to watch me play and that made him want to play. I tell him how watching him is a joy and he’s my favorite player of all time. He loves it!
There are many but if I had to pick one, it would be a game he pitched in a tournament against a team they all thought they already lost before the game. He was even echoing this talk to me. I told him that I still thought he was the best player out there and to trust himself. He want out to give up 2 with one earned and had a 3-2 lead when his limit was reached. When all the coaches from other team told him he pitched well and said they meant it, that was a proud moment.
