My proudest moment was watching Michael turn disappointment into determination. After not making a select team, he chose to work harder, asking for extra reps and putting in the time to improve. Later in the summer, he was invited to be a pickup player for that same team and his performance earned him an invitation to join. Watching his hard work turn into an opportunity has been one of the most rewarding moments of his baseball journey.
