What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Michael loves having fun and working hard with his teammates! Whether it be baseball, football or basketball, he is there to amp up his teammates, encouraging effort and determination! He truly portrays a positive vibe throughout each game and practice always with his big shiny smile!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Michael’s top inspiration in each of his sports has been his coaches. He has been fortunate enough to have coaches that are passionate about each of his sports which have given Michael great guidance. He looks up to each of the individuals that have been leading his Althletic journey. He gives each of his coaches his undivided attention on and off the field allowing for all moments to be teachable. These individuals offer their time to teach young athletes, that is an inspiration to Michael.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

As Michael’s mother, watching my son walk on and off field with pride whether it be win or lose, he is always a team player. However, there was a time during an AllStar baseball game when he made some errors and walked off the field defeated. Rather than bringing any one down with him, he went home and practiced. The next game he played his hardest. He made diving catches, batted his best ever and made sure to make up for his performance from last game! Determined to not let his teammates down!
