I love making shots, especially when people on the other team or bench doubt me! I love when my teammates pass me the ball and we work together. Most of all, basketball is fun. When I’m on the court, I feel happy, excited and like I can just be myself. I love playing, competing and being part of my team.
Michael Jordan inspires me because of how much passion and confidence he has on the court. I love how he isn’t afraid to do his special moves as soon as he gets the ball. When I shoot, I even like to copy the face he makes with his tongue sticking out. He reminds me to play with confidence and have fun.
One of my proudest moments is when I make a really tough shot. It feels amazing because I know all the time I spent practicing helped me make it. In that moment, I feel proud of myself and excited to keep working hard and getting better.
