He loves uplifting his teammates because he understands EVERY player, plays an important role in the game. He believes his greatest success is amplified when he helps his team reach their full potential.
His dad inspires him on and off the field. He’s seen his dad face and overcome many adversities, through it all his faith remained strong and he got up everyday for his family and continued to show up for himself. That taught me that whatever obstacle I face as long as I believe in God and myself I can accomplish anything. There is no limit.
One of my proudest moments as his mom is watching him step onto that field every time and carry himself with integrity, confidence, and grace. What makes me even prouder is that it doesn’t stop with him—it flows over into his teammates. He leads by example, inspires those around him, and brings a presence to the field that you can’t teach. Watching him control the field, trust his preparation, and come through clutch when his team needs him most is something I’ll never take for granted.
