Miguel is inspired most by his dad, who has coached him in many of the sports he plays. He looks up to him for his hard work, encouragement, and the way he always pushes him to do his best. Having his dad by his side on and off the field has helped Miguel grow in confidence, sportsmanship, and love for the game.
One thing that makes Miguel proud is that he doesn’t let being smaller than many of the other kids stop him. He always gives his best, stays competitive, and believes in what he can do. He’s learned that being the biggest or strongest isn’t what matters most. His hard work, determination, and skills allow him to compete with anyone.
