What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

s her mom: What Mollie loves most about softball is the people and relationships it has brought into her life. Of course, she loves competing and getting better, but it’s the friendships, coaches, teammates, and memories that mean the most to her. She has grown so much through this sport, not just as a player, but as a person. Softball has taught her hard work, commitment, confidence, and what it means to be part of something bigger than herself.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Mollie is inspired most by her family, especially the people who have supported and believed in her throughout her journey. She has watched the sacrifices her family has made to help her reach her goals, and that motivates her to work hard and never take an opportunity for granted. Her coaches and teammates also inspire her to be better every day. She wants to make the people who have invested so much in her proud, both on and off the field.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me the proudest is watching Mollie’s hard work finally pay off when she committed to play softball at Boston University. I’ve watched everything she has poured into this sport—the early mornings, long drives, practices, lessons, setbacks and sacrifices. But what makes me most proud isn’t just where softball is taking her. It’s the person she has become through the journey: hardworking, humble, determined and always willing to put her team first.
