I’ve made some of my best friends, traveled to amazing places, stayed in fun hotels, and created memories I’ll never forget. I love the excitement of competing, working hard, and seeing that hard work pay off. Every competition is a new adventure, and I love sharing it with my teammates. The friendships, travel, memories, and medals make it all worth it!
Jordan Chiles inspires me because I see so much of myself in her. She is goofy, edgy, always smiling, and never afraid to be herself. I love how she celebrates and cheers on her teammates while still bringing so much energy and confidence to her own performance. I got to watch Jordan compete at UCLA, and seeing her in person became a core memory for me. She inspires me to be confident, have fun, and lift up the people around me.
I’m most proud of the moments when my daughter stands up for what she believes in, even when it’s difficult. She has faced challenging conversations with teammates and never lets them change who she is. She knows she may not have the newest leotards or gear, but she works hard, stays positive, and cheers for everyone around her. Gymnastics gives her consistency when life doesn’t, and she turns every challenge into an opportunity to grow, laugh, and shine.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
