Join the CompetitionWhat Moriah loves most about gymnastics is learning and trying new skills while also having the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. She loves that gymnastics helps her grow not only as an athlete but also as a person.
Moriah is inspired by gymnasts such as Morgan Price, Trinity Thomas, Skye Blakely, Simone Biles, and Jordan Chiles because they are examples of girls who look like her and have shown her that girls like her can do amazing things in gymnastics. They work hard, compete at a high level, and have accomplished so much. Watching them motivates her to keep working hard, learn new skills, and see how far she can go in gymnastics.
The moment that makes me the proudest is when she became the Uneven Bars National Champion this past season. Before that, she had experienced a mental block on bars for months. It was really hard, but she didn't give up. She kept working, stayed positive, and focused on getting 1% better every practice. Becoming a national champion showed her that hard work, patience, and believing in herself can help her overcome challenges.
