What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreFootball gives Myles confidence, purpose, and a place where he feels he belongs. He loves being part of a team, encouraging his teammates, learning new skills, and pushing himself to improve every day. The friendships, discipline, and excitement of game day motivate him to work hard both on the field and in the classroom, proving that dedication pays off.
Myles is inspired by his family, especially his older brothers Erick and Coach Reggie, who encourage him to work hard, stay disciplined, and never give up. He also looks up to his dad for teaching perseverance and his mom for always believing in him and reminding him that he can accomplish anything through faith, hard work, and determination.
The proudest moment was when Myles stepped away from football to focus on improving his grades. He worked hard, raised them, and earned the opportunity to return to the sport he loves. Watching him overcome obstacles, mature, and understand that success in the classroom comes before success on the field showed incredible growth, resilience, and character.
