What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Nasyr loves the excitement of competition, being part of a team, learning new skills and challenging himself to get better. Whether he’s hitting a baseball, scoring a soccer goal or making a play on the football field, he gives it his all. Most of all, he loves having fun, making new friends and seeing his hard work turn into progress.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Nasyr is inspired by his family, coaches and the athletes he looks up to. His family encourages him to work hard, stay humble and never give up. His coaches inspire him to listen, learn and be a great teammate. Watching professional athletes motivates him to dream big and reminds him that with dedication, practice and determination, he can accomplish anything he puts his mind to.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the moments that makes me most proud is watching Nasyr step onto the field and give his all, regardless of the sport or outcome. Seeing how far he has come since starting at just 2 years old is amazing. At only 6, he has already developed a love for baseball, soccer and football and continues to challenge himself, learn and grow. I’m most proud of his determination and the way he never gives up.
