What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Nathaniel loves that the sport is always there for him no matter where the military sends our family. Jiu Jitsu gyms are family and he's never felt like an outsider starting at a new gym. It helps his confidence and has made him into a great leader.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His dad inspires him for the sacrifices he makes for our family. He is also inspired by all his coaches past and present and thrives in the sport because of their love for the sport.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Trying out the competition circuit and even though he may not win, his Jiu Jitsu family is always in his corner.
