What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

When my son, Nazareth, is on the pitch, all life’s challenges and worries disappear. It is his second home, his peace, his safe place.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

According to Nazareth, his parents have always been his biggest supporters and advocates. His relentless work ethic and humility, is in honor of his parents for raising him.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

There are so many but the most recent was him making the Varsity team for his #1 Nationally ranked High School soccer team. Regardless whether he made the team or not, we are beyond proud of the person he is.

Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
