What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

My son loves playing football because when he’s on the field, it’s like nothing else matters. For those moments, all of the distractions, worries, and noise disappear, and he’s completely focused on doing what he loves most. Football gives him confidence, purpose, and joy. Watching him play, you can see the passion in his eyes and the determination in every step he takes. He truly believes he was born to play this game.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His love for football was inspired by his uncle, whom he watched from a young age and saw his passion for the game firsthand. He would stand on the sidelines even at the beach cheering him on and celebrating every play. Watching his uncle’s journey from Pop Warner to college football left a lasting impression on him and deepened his own love for the sport. That experience became the foundation of his passion and continues to motivate him every time he steps onto the field.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the moments that makes me the proudest as his parent is watching him bring God with him every time he steps onto the field. Before every game, he prays, plays with integrity, and remembers that his talent is a gift. Seeing the love he has for football, the determination he shows at such a young age, and the goals he has set for himself inspires me every day. He understands that success comes through faith, hard work, discipline, and perseverance. No matter the outcome of the game.
