Learn MoreThe ability to just play and keep building upon their skill. There is the joy that he feels to get out there and play and play along side his teammates and then there is the proud moments he feels for himself when he gets the touchdown or makes the shot or plays great defense and his team and coaches are giving him kudos for that ignites him.
His favorite athletes like Kobe, Saquon Barkley, and Mbappe inspire him and encourage him to push through or try new things on or off the field. It’s the characteristics of these great athletes that he has adopted once he recognized what made them great.
One moment in their athletic journey that makes me proud is his Nico’s ability to just do it. He is so fearless about joining new teams and meeting new kids and just trying out different sports as well. His willingness to just get out there and try is what makes me so proud because that’s something that even most adults are afraid to do, to get out of their comfort zone. I hope that in life, he never loses that.
