Whether he’s pitching, hitting, fielding, or cheering on his teammates, he loves being on the field. Baseball challenges him to keep improving, and he is always willing to put in the extra work. For Nick, it’s more than just a sport; it’s something he truly loves.
Nick is inspired by the players and coaches who show him that talent only takes you so far—hard work, determination, and a good attitude are what make a great athlete. He looks up to people who continue working even when things are difficult. Their example motivates him to practice harder, learn from his mistakes, be a good teammate, and never stop trying to become a better baseball player and person.
It’s hard to choose just one moment because every season Nick gives us something to be proud of. Watching him hit home runs and step onto the mound with confidence is exciting, but what makes me proudest is seeing how much work he puts in behind the scenes. He practices year-round and is always looking for ways to improve. Seeing that hard work turn into success on the field reminds me that he has earned every accomplishment.
