What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most about basketball is the feeling of being part of a team and working toward a common goal. He loves the excitement of competition, the challenge of improving his skills, and the friendships he has made along the way. Basketball pushes him to work harder, stay focused, and never give up. Most of all, he loves the confidence and joy he feels every time he steps onto the court and gets to play the game he truly loves.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My son is inspired most by his parents, who support and encourage him both on and off the basketball court. We teach him to work hard, stay humble, believe in himself, and never give up. He looks up to the people who push him to be a better player, teammate, student, and person. Their love and guidance motivate him to keep improving, overcome challenges, and always give his best.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the proudest moments of my son’s journey was watching him overcome challenges and continue pushing forward, even when things didn’t come easily. Seeing his dedication, determination, and growth both on and off the basketball court reminds me how far he has come. I’m most proud not just of the athlete he is becoming, but of the young man he is growing into—confident, humble, hardworking, and never willing to give up.
