What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreTeam atmosphere- very competitive, comradery with teammates, and learning from the losses and gaining confidence from wins She's very competitive against herself and always finds ways to improve. Works her butt off in off season, to reap the rewards during the season. She always states that she is glad to be out doing what she loves to do, running & playing soccer.
My biggest inspiration is my family. They continue to push me to be my best but are always willing to bs there when I feel as though i didn't. Their unwavering support has shown me that no matter how i do they will celebrate me and not just the successes. My teammates also never fail to pick me up and cheer me up when I can't myself. I am so beyond grateful for the people i have chosen to surrond myself with.
With her sets backs due to repeat ACL surgeries back to back years, and then another surgery the next year on same knee for all 3 years, she is not a "quiter," and shows individuals (teammates and family) that the hard work truly does pay off. State bound for XC 2 out of 3 years, divison 1 school. One year remaining.
