Learn MoreHe loves the feeling he gets when he steps onto the ice. Hockey fuels his drive and motivates him to keep pushing himself, even when things get difficult. He loves being part of a team and knowing that every player has a role and that they have to work together to succeed. Most importantly, hockey has taught him perseverance—to get back up after a tough game, learn from mistakes, work harder, and never give up. For him, hockey is more than a sport; it is his world.
His biggest inspiration is his dad, who also played hockey. Although he never got the chance to watch his dad play, he has heard stories about his dad’s time on the ice and carries that legacy with pride. He proudly wears his dad’s number, making it a special connection between them. His dad inspires him to work hard, stay determined, be a great teammate, and never give up.
One of his proudest moments in his athletic journey was making it to the International Silver Stick Tournament. After countless hours of practice, hard work, travel, and pushing through challenges, earning the opportunity to compete on that stage was incredibly meaningful. It showed him that perseverance and dedication truly pay off. Being there with his teammates, representing his team, and competing against some of the best players made it a moment he will always remember.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
