What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves sports because he loves being part of something bigger than himself. Whether it’s football, wrestling, or baseball, he thrives on excitement, challenges, competition, & friendships that come with being part of a team. He embraces the victories & the tough moments, knowing there is always something to learn. He works hard, encourages teammates & younger athletes, grows from every experience. For him, it’s not just about winning, it’s about the journey, lessons, & being part of a team.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My oncologist and genetics doctors inspire me because they showed me what it means to fight for your dreams. As former college athletes, they know the dedication, discipline, and toughness it takes to win—and they helped me beat ALL. Ja’Marr Chase also inspires me. At his camp, I played ball with him and caught a pass from him. He told me to believe in myself and chase my dreams. They taught me that with hard work, faith, and determination, I can overcome any challenge and win in life.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me the proudest is when my son made the game-saving tackle that secured his team’s spot in the playoffs. With everything on the line, he stayed focused, trusted his training, and stepped up when his team needed him most. Watching him make that play and seeing his teammates celebrate together was an unforgettable moment. I was proud not just because of the tackle, but because it showed his toughness, determination, and willingness to put his team before himself.
