When Nora is out on the BMX track she has absolutely no fear. Whether she is racing at our home track or state races out of town, she is a beast and hasn’t gotten any place other than 1st in any of her state qualifying races she’s gone to. She is small but mighty, racing against boys and girls from all over. Her BMX nickname is “Lightning McCree”, her signature move is to push kids out of her way on the turns and she’s not afraid to rub handlebars and be aggressive!
Her Dad and older brother also race BMX. She has so much support from all her friends and adults at her home track which gives her the confidence she needs to get out there and kick butt! In October she will be going to Southern California with her Dad to compete in the state final race to hopefully get the #1 plate in her class.
I just can’t believe she hasn’t lost a race in her state qualifiers. She has the coolest collection of First place trophies in her room to show for all her hard work and she’s only 9! I can’t wait to see where BMX will take her, her dream is to compete in the Olympics !
