Learn MoreNyxx loves that gymnastics is never the same every day. Each practice gives me the chance to learn something new and work on harder skills. Every day pushes me past my limits and shows me what I'm truly capable of.
The senior gymnasts at her gym are her biggest inspiration. They have always cheered her on, and many of them have been by her side since the day she joined the team. Nyxx has had the privilege of watching them grow, train, and inspire others before graduating and moving on to bigger opportunities and exciting new chapters in their lives. Their dedication, perseverance, and kindness have motivated her to keep working hard and chasing her own gymnastics dreams.
I am most proud of Nyxx when she overcomes a mental block or an injury. Every time she has been forced to sit out and watch from the sidelines, she has worked even harder to come back stronger than before. She adapts, pushes through challenges, and never gives up. Proudest moment I've had was watching her compete at the State Championships just 3 weeks after a devastating tumbling accident that left her with a severe concussion. She competed and left with the 3rd place state champion title.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
