What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves being active. His energy levels are crazy high, so being able to run and have fun is the best part.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His dad definitely inspires him. He also loves Kobe Bryant and several other current basketball players.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I have a video of him micd up on the baseball field. When he got to first he turned to his dad and said “I did it the right way this time. Learning from my mistakes”. I just felt like that was so beyond his age and mental capacity. It was awesome to see him registering things that would help him and implementing them on the field at only 8 years old.
