She loves celebrating her teammates, encouraging them, and sharing those exciting moments together. For Olivia, winning is exciting, but it’s even better when the people around her are winning too.
Olivia is inspired by Simone Biles. She admires her strength, confidence, and everything she has accomplished in gymnastics. Olivia dreams of becoming a GOAT just like her one day. Simone shows her that with hard work, determination, and believing in yourself, even the biggest dreams are worth chasing.
I’m most proud of Olivia’s growth and the teammate she has become. She is competitive and wants to succeed, but she has never been an individualist. She genuinely wants to see the people around her succeed too. Watching her celebrate her teammates, encourage them, and be just as excited for their accomplishments as she is for her own makes me incredibly proud. To me, that says just as much about her as an athlete as any skill or win.
