What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She shared that she loves sports because it's not just about the game—it's about that bond you build with teammates and the fun of working toward a shared goal. I enjoy the challenge of improving my skills and the leadership and perseverance each season teaches me. This is something that stays with me well beyond the field.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Olivia draws inspiration from the community of people around her—her coaches, friends, teammates, family, and teachers. Their support and encouragement really keep her motivated. In addition, her spirituality helps reinforce that drive, as she finds strength in the uplifting and cheering-on she receives from those who care about her. It's that sense of community that inspires her to succeed.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of Olivia’s proudest moments comes from what initially felt like her biggest failure. She once tanked an All-American cheerleader audition because of a fear of failing in front of friends. Instead of giving up, she spent the next year volunteering to do things that scared her, like speaking up in class and trying new activities. By the next audition, she felt much closer to achieving her goal.
