She loves being part of a team, building relationships with her teammates, and seeing hard work translate into results on the court. Whether it’s practice, a close game, or an opportunity to learn from a coach, she genuinely loves the process of becoming a better player.
Olivia is inspired by athletes who prove that success is earned through discipline, resilience, and consistency. She admires players who compete hard while still being great teammates and leaders. Off the court, she is inspired by the people in her life who push her to believe bigger, work through setbacks, stay humble, and understand that who she becomes through the journey matters just as much as what she accomplishes.
I’m proudest when I see Olivia’s character show through on the court. She respects her coaches, officials, teammates, and opponents, and she genuinely wants to be coached. She listens to feedback, makes adjustments, and never believes she is above learning. Win or lose, she works to be a great teammate and represent her team with sportsmanship. To me, those qualities matter just as much as anything she could ever put on a stat sheet.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
