Learn MoreLiv loves pushing herself to become better while also pushing and encouraging her teammates to be their best. She takes pride in being a leader and role model, both on and off the track. She loves the challenge of competing, being part of a team and seeing hard work pay off—not only in her own success, but in the success of those around her. Running has taught her that being a great athlete is about more than winning; it’s about lifting others up along the way.
Liv is inspired by the people around her who work hard, stay positive and continue pushing through challenges. She draws motivation from her teammates, coaches and other athletes who show up every day determined to improve. Seeing others work toward their goals inspires her to keep pushing herself, lead by example and be the kind of teammate and role model who encourages others to believe in themselves too.
Her senior year makes us proudest. After a stress reaction, illness and other setbacks threatened the season she had worked so hard for, Liv never gave up. She stayed focused, fought her way back and finished her senior year winning 3 individual state championships while helping her team win 3 state championships as well. Watching her overcome so much with determination and heart meant more than any medal ever could.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
