What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Owen’s love for baseball began by watching his older brother play. Some of his favorite memories are playing up on his brother’s team, sharing the field with someone he looked up to, while their dad coached from the dugout. Those moments gave Owen confidence and turned baseball into more than a sport, it became a bond with his brother and dad. Today, he loves competing, growing as a player, supporting his teammates, and creating his own story in the game he loves.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Owen’s biggest inspirations are his family. His older brother inspired his love for baseball, and his dad helped build his confidence as both a coach and father. His mom is his biggest cheerleader, always making sure she’s in the stands no matter how busy life gets. Their support has taught Owen to lead by example, encourage his teammates, work hard, and give his best every time he steps on the field.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

There are so many moments that make me proud, but what stands out most is Owen’s ability to stay focused and lift up his teammates. When someone makes a mistake, he’s the first to remind them, “It’s okay, we learn from it and try again.” Watching him lead with encouragement, stay positive through tough moments, and care just as much about his teammates’ success as his own makes me prouder than any win ever could.
