What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Sports challenge me to be better every single day. I love the competition, intensity, and feeling of being part of a team working toward the same goal. As a point guard, I especially love being able to lead my teammates, create opportunities, and make the right play when it matters most. Basketball has taught me that being a leader isn't just about scoring points—it’s about communicating, staying positive, and putting the team first. Mostly, I love the people sports has brought into my life.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My parents inspire me on & off the court. They have supported me, encouraged me to work hard, & taught me to never give up when things get tough. They push me to be the best athlete, student, teammate, & person I can be. They remind me to stay humble, be respectful, & always give my best effort. They've shown me through their own example the importance of hard work, commitment, & selflessness. I know that every opportunity I've had is because of their time, sacrifice and encouragement.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Making varsity as a freshman after moving to a new school is the moment I am most proud of in my athletic journey. Starting over in a new environment was challenging, but I stayed focused, worked hard, and trusted myself. Earning a spot on varsity showed me that stepping outside my comfort zone can lead to great opportunities. It gave me confidence and proved that hard work and perseverance pay off.
