Receive Text UpdatesParker’s favorite part about playing baseball is competing! Whether it’s a scrimmage or playing against some of the most elite top teams in the area, he strives to be the best! If you put him in a competition against some of the top kids, he wants to show out and be the best amongst the best. Iron sharpens iron, and that’s the mentality Parker has. Put him up against some of the best talent, because it makes him a better athlete.
While it’s easy to look up to some of the most talented baseball players whether it’s MLB or locally UT Volunteer Baseball, Parker is probably most inspired by his Dad! His Dad used to play College baseball and he would love nothing more than to follow his footsteps. It makes things more reachable when you know someone personally that’s successfully played ball! They’re truly two peas in a pod. Any time there’s a moment to spare, they’re on the ball-field somewhere practicing to be better!
Parker works year round to be one of the best in his craft! One of the proudest moments is him being picked to represent Team TN in the PG All State Games! He’s headed to Houston, TX in Nov. to compete against States all over the US! And lastly, he recently went through 2 rounds of try-outs before getting invited to the final round of USA Baseball in Cary, NC for the opportunity to represent Team USA in the U12 Baseball World Cup in Taiwan! He was 1 of 30 kids selected in the Southeast to go!
