His coach Lund and teacher, Mr Keltos. He looks up to the people who push him harder, improve his skills and to be the best teammate he can be. Mr. Keltos always hold him accountable for his actions and to do the best even when nobody is watching.
One of the moments that makes me the proudest is watching him continue to show up and give his best, even when things don’t come easily. I’ve watched him face challenges, make mistakes, and have difficult days, but he keeps coming back to the court and trying again. As his mom, I’m most proud when I see him encourage a teammate, stay positive after a tough play, or pick himself up after a setback. Those are the moments that remind me that volleyball is teaching him more than just being a sport.
