Learn MoreThe shoes screeching on the floor and as soon as you walk in the gym hearing the balls bounce. Trying to figure out who’s the team we’re playing and watching them warm up figuring out who’s the scorer who’s the shooter. Things like that, it’s the soundtrack to my life so far. I feel the most free when I am in the gym working on my game or during a tournament the basketball court is my sanctuary. I love the community that I have created as a hooper as well.
My parents inspire me. They give me every opportunity and tool needed for me to be successful. They never complain or say no as long as I do the work. That inspires me and drives me to complete my journey and to hopefully be able to fund my college education so my parent don’t have to.
Watching my son have his first 30pt game in a playoff win for his middle school varsity team. His school is not a particularly strong sports school but with his leadership his team managed to make the playoffs and earn a playoff win to advance to semi finals. I also value the work he has put in to become a better player.
