What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Lacrosse is often referred to as the medicine game. He feels it allows him to heal mentally, and strengthen his body physically while teaching him life lessons and improving his overall well being. He loves the physical, competitive nature of the sport. He also loves the connections to people he has been able to meet from all across North America.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The love for lacrosse was instilled in him since birth and it’s become a large part of his life. He grew up in the lacrosse arena watching his dad play. He had a stick in his hand before he could walk and was around the team as much as possible before starting his own lacrosse journey at 3 years old. He has even started to follow in the footsteps of his dad and helps out to coach younger athletes. He’s also inspired by his peers. As they advance their skills it pushes him to better his own.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Many moments and personal accolades in his journey have stood out, whether it be playing in older divisions, winning multiple championships or awards, leading scoring titles, breaking records, or being named tournament all-star at National Championships. The most important moments are based around his leadership. After a recent performance, members of the team were struggling with the outcome and he personally consoled them. Seeing how he conducts himself in respect to his peers makes us proud.
