What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MorePaxton has been playing tackle football since the age of 5. He loves the fast pace of running the ball and the aggression of defense. When playing baseball, although slow paced, he loves the friendships that he made and the ability to play different positions in the outfield. Paxton loves the constant momentum of basketball. He loves shooting free throws and stealing the ball on defense. Soccer is his favorite sport, he loves dribbling the ball, learning new skills and scoring goals.
His dad is his inspiration on and off the field! With dad being a head football coach, he is always around and inspired by his take charge and motivational mind set towards his players. Paxton will insert himself in practices and game days, saying that he’s giving the boys a little extra “swag”. No matter the sport, he always looks for dad to help practice, do drills and learn the game.
The moment in Paxton's athletic journey that makes me the proudest was when he made the All Star team for baseball coach pitch for his first year of playing. Paxton had not played T-ball since 2022 and his first year of coach pitch he was the leading batter and made the All Star, leaving me extremely proud of his accomplishment!
