Payeton Marion went to states for soccer, lacrosse, and track while being a sophomore. Got 2nd team defense for lacrosse, got 6th for track.

What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love the competition, the friendships, and pushing myself to be better. Both soccer and track challenge me in different ways, and I love seeing how much I can accomplish when I work hard.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My biggest inspiration is my family. They’re always there for me, supporting my goals, and remind me to keep working hard even when things don’t go exactly as planned.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I’m proudest of the time I reached a personal goal I had been working toward in track. Seeing my hard work payoff was an amazing feeling, and I broke the school record as a sophomore.
